Start small. Learn together.
Try one device before setting up the classroom. The learning screens are the same for everyone.
- Open Sano while connected.
Use an up-to-date browser. For offline learning, open Grown-up corner → Offline play → Save for offline play, and wait until saving finishes.
- Choose a companion and learning language.
Click or tap to start sound. Choose either Sano companion, then Learn English or Learn Nepali. Learning begins with one gentle guided path. Short guidance plays once in the course language, then the other language. Hear again replays it; Bilingual help opens the screen-text options.
- Use a mouse, keyboard or touch.
Click the game first. Use ← / → or A / D to steer, and hold Space / ↑ to lift while flying.
- Return to the same browser.
Bookmark Sano. Current progress stays on this device. Clearing browser data may remove it.

Listen to a familiar word, discover a place or festival, then try a game or short melody. Ask what everyone discovered.

Before your first lesson
Will every feature work on our computers?
Try your actual school devices first. Games need WebGL. Talk to Sano is Coming soon and does not open the microphone. The native phone apps are still being prepared.
Can we use it without the internet?
Use Save for offline play and wait until it finishes, then test the saved learning edition offline. Browser storage can be cleared or removed automatically. Grown-up accounts, paid round checks, payments and future school licence activation need a connection.
Can pupils share a device?
Yes, for supervised activities. Current saved progress belongs to this browser. Separate secure pupil accounts and teacher reports are not available yet.
Do we need another app for school?
No second learning interface is planned. Schools and organisations will use the Sano website with an agreed school licence. School licensing and the separate App Store and Google Play releases are still being prepared.
