Using Sano

Sano is created and owned by Samir Sharma. The website offers English and Nepali learning through play. Grown-ups should choose suitable activities, supervise children as needed and use comfortable, short sessions.

Everyday learning, Scribble and the ordinary drawing tools remain free. Children do not create an online payment account. A grown-up uses their own account to choose and confirm optional purchases.

Optional rounds and the Rainbow pencil

Sano Games, Music & Melodies and the knowledge challenge each include three free rounds per grown-up account. The server checks and records the allowance separately for each feature. Changing the learner, course or device does not create another allowance for that account.

After a feature’s free rounds are used, a new round costs 10 purchased coins: one game round, one guided tune, or five knowledge questions. Opening a tile or preview does not spend coins. Sano shows the price before an explicit Start.

The Rainbow pencil costs 20 coins for a permanent unlock on the grown-up account. Ordinary drawing remains free. Talk to Sano and future language packs are Coming soon and cannot be purchased or started from those tiles.

Purchasing coins

The grown-up wallet shows the available pack, price, currency and coin amount before checkout. One-off packs and optional monthly card plans use Stripe’s hosted checkout. Sano does not collect card details on its own pages. Purchase availability and any test-payment mode are labelled in the wallet.

Coins are credited after the server confirms successful payment. A return link or screen does not itself credit the wallet. Purchased coins are separate from local learning stars and play rewards and have no scheduled expiry. They cannot be exchanged for cash through the app; this does not remove any legal refund rights.

Monthly plans

A monthly plan renews until cancelled and adds its stated coin allowance only after each successful paid invoice. It is a recurring allowance, not unlimited play. The price, frequency and allowance must be shown before you agree to a plan.

Manage or cancel future renewals from your grown-up wallet. Follow the provider’s confirmation and check the renewal status. Cancellation does not automatically refund earlier payments. Contact us if you think a payment was wrong or you want to exercise an applicable cancellation or refund right.

Interrupted rounds and payment problems

A saved unfinished round can resume without a second debit while its server access remains open. Hints, audio replay and technical retries within that same round do not buy a new round.

The wallet can restore coins for an unfinished paid round. This closes that round. Unfinished access expires after 24 hours, with coins returned when the server next checks the wallet or round. A completed round is closed and cannot use this unfinished-round refund control. Free-round use is not reset by cancellation, refund or expiry.

For a missing payment, fault or refund request, email info@learnwithsano.com with your order reference and grown-up account email. Do not send card numbers, passwords or recovery codes. Please do not pay again to try to repair an earlier payment.

Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected. These in-app controls do not replace rights or remedies that apply by law, including where digital content is faulty or not as described.

Accounts, progress and availability

Keep your password and recovery code private. Save and confirm a recovery code before a live purchase; Sano does not send password-reset emails. The code can restore the adult wallet, but it is not a backup of a child’s learning progress.

Learning progress stays on the device. Clearing browser storage, removing an app or losing the device can remove it. Adult account checks, free-round eligibility and purchases need an internet connection. Offline files may be removed by the browser. See Privacy and Help for controls and limitations.

Native App Store and Google Play releases and school licences are still being prepared. The current website does not create a school licence or secure pupil accounts.

Sano’s materials and contact

You may use the intended learning experience and share a link to Sano. Permission to play does not transfer ownership of Sano’s original artwork, recordings, source code or branding. Third-party material remains subject to its own licence; statutory rights and exceptions are unaffected.
